Spa Deals For Teachers
Who deserves a spa break more than a teacher? In order to show their appreciation, spas across the country are offering teachers special deals and even free treatments. Here's a sampling. The Pointe South Mountain Resort in Phoenix is giving teachers a special $99 per-night rate Sunday through Thursday, good through the end of July. (No cheating! You must show a valid educator’s ID at check-in.) And the resort’s Phantom Horse Spa is offering teachers a 50-minute “A is for Apple, B is Beautiful Facial" for $80 instead of the usual $95. In Mill Valley, California, Tea Garden Springs offers teachers a 10 percent discount every summer on their Anti-Stress Body Treatment. Teachers can relax with a 15-minute steam, followed by a dry body brushing and massage. A body wrap, scalp treatment and foot reflexology round out the treatment. And in Johnson City, Tennessee, The Austin Springs Spa & Salon in Tenn. treats local teachers to a complimentary 30-minute aromatherapy bath in a private, candle-lit room.
