Spa Trend: Spas As Entertainment

Spas are becoming more like movies and restaurants -- a form of entertainment. When a new spa opens, it's fun to go check out the interior design, the spa treatments, the programs, the amenities -- just the way you like to go check out new restaurants. People used to build a relationship with one spa -- whether it was their local day spa or a destination spa -- and go back there again and again. But with so many new spas opening up around the world -- and multi-million dollar redesigns at big resort spas -- lots of us feel like we're missing out if we limit ourselves to one spa.
