Rants and Raves on Spa Week
Tuesday April 22, 2008
Spa Week has just finished up and I heard from one consumer who was disappointed in her experience. "Besides being treated like a 2nd class citizen because I was taking advantage of Spa Week, I was also expected to pay 50% tip," she wrote. "Two treatments would have been $100 and the spa requested I pay $54 for tip totally a bill of $154." The spa was charging a tip on the full value of the service, and I thought it was fair. But she also said her treatment was cut 15 minutes short, which is a real problem. Anyone else out there have a bad experience with Spa Week? Anyone who loved it?

This was my first Spa Week experience and I was very pleaseed. I booked a Glycolic Facial at Glow Skin Spa. The young lady who serviced me Jamie waas a wonderful asthetician beside good company during the treatment. She seemed very happy when I tipped her in cash $15.00. I was so impressed with her that I took her card and will go back on my own for further facials.
I’ve being taking advantage of the spa week for about tree times now - I am very happy with results. I had never felt that I was treated as a 2nd class citizen (comparing to my regular spa visits).
My last spaweek experience was amazing. I decided to go to Complete Bare on Madison (the 5th ave location has pretty rude people working there – hated it) decided to try the Madison Ave location.
My appointment was very short due to my stupidity I had waxed the night before. The manager was so nice that she offered that I come back within two weeks and they will honor the spaweek price.
Although if I had someone charging me as that woman was – I wouldn’t be happy.
While visiting Colorado, I went to Facelogic in Broomfield. Definitely one of the best facial i have had and great customer service, knowledgable staff, clean and made me feel very special!!
