One of the more interesting treatments is an 80-minute Signature Rollersage at Heavenly Spa By Westin. In a new spin on hot stone massage, heated crystalline spheres selected for their energy-enhancing qualities are rolled over the body in a hand-held tool, melting away tension and relaxing tight muscles while restoring your body's energetic balance.
I had this treatment by the creator, Matt Murdock, and it's wonderful because you get the sensation of heat and the therapist's hands at the same time. And it's only available at Heavenly Spas. So try that one!
Another good deal is a 45-minute manicure, a 40-minute Swedish massage and a 30-minute facial for men or woman, all for $99 at The Spa at Lago Mar, where you get to use the spa's facilities, like a eucalyptus steam room and gym.
Lago Mar Resort & Club's private beach and pools are off limits unless you take advantage of the overnight special available September 1-30, 2011. It's $333 per night for a stay in an executive suite, complete with separate bedroom, living room and private balcony. That rate includes the $99 spa treatment for one person. An additional person in the room, receiving the Spa Chic package is $130.
