I have a rich dream life. I fly a lot, for instance As I dreamt this morning, I was looking at a book called "Body Butter" and the phrase was spoken very loud inside my head.
When I woke up, I thought about what a weird dream it was, but later realized it was practical guidance. The weather gets colder and drier as winter approaches. It is, in fact, the time for body butter.
I use one that I buy from a local herbalist, Barbara Fornal, in Accord, New York. She infuses calendula, burdock root and essential oils of tangerine, patchouli and lavender in a rich and skin-nourishing combination of organic olive, jojoba, avocado, peanut, wheat germ and coconut oils, along with shea and cocoa butters and beeswax. The synthetics and preservatives are...nowhere. It's a great natural beauty product. I'm supporting my local economy -- one real person. And I'm helping my skin stay beautiful.
I encourage you to dump the expensive creams packed with synthetic ingredients and perfumes and ideally, look for locally made products. You can probably find them at local food co-ops, street fairs and Christmas bazaars that feature hand-made goods.
