Kristen Haines, owner of Euphoria Spa in Manhattan's Tribeca, is one of my favorite people in the spa business. She is using her spa to offer comfort to "anyone and everyone who would like to reconnect, rejuvenate and relax" with 15 minutes of complimentary sauna time.
"During this time of national mourning, remember to save space for yourself and your heart," she writes. "Let all of the good and grace around you come flooding into your heart and soul."
Kristen also reminds us of ways that we can help the people, the school and families of the victims. My Sandy Hook Family Fund is raising money to help families of victims meet immediate expenses, including funeral services, as well as ongoing living expenses such as food, mortgage payments, day care, insurance and fuel.
Newtown School Board is requesting that any donations be directed to the United Way's Sandy Hook School Support Fund to provide support services to the families and community.
And the U.S. Post Office has set up a P.O. Box for the public to send condolences to those affected by the tragedy in Newtown.

Are any other spas are doing things out there to help comfort people in this terrible time? What you are doing to care for yourself?
