On the way from Flagstaff to Sedona, there is a scenic pull-off before the descent into Oak Creek Canyon. We found it filled with Native American vendors selling pottery and jewelry at very reasonable prices. Be forewarned, most only take cash. This and the previous three pages show some examples of their art. Thanks to the vendors for providing the stories.

The Navajo people have returned to their original name given to them by their holy people. The Dineh land (aka Navajo Reservation) of the vendors on top of Oak Creek Canyon is the largest reservation established for the Dineh, covering about 25,000 sq. miles of land which is located in the Southwest in parts of Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, and Colorado.
