Many thanks again for your thoughtful reply. The more I hear, the more I think it is the right place for us. Both couples prefer smaller lodge-type places to larger resorts, but I have a feeling Enchantment will not be too overwhelming. We like being removed from main centers of activity, and we have no interest in the multi-story, hustle-bustle, everybody-has-their-hand-out types of places, no matter how many stars they may carry in the guidebooks.
Your note was very helpful. I promise to be back in touch. By coincidence, we are also going to The Boulders near Phoenix next month. Ever been there?
