QUESTIONS FOR THE SPA GUIDE

Answer to Question 19:

I love Japanese food! Sushi is great, but I stick to cooked versions. My favorite is avocado, cucumber and lettuce.

Here are some sites to look at about sushi -

For nutrition facts for sushi (sushi rice w. seaweed, vegetables, raw fish) [2 pieces], go to CyberDiet's Nutritional Information Food Label at:

http://www.cyberdiet.com/ni/ni/showLabel.cgi?food_num=7245&csc=23A

and Sushi rice (rice, vinegar, sugar, rice wine, salt) [1 cup] at:

http://www.cyberdiet.com/ni/ni/showLabel.cgi?food_num=7246&csc=23A

CyberDiet and other nutritional sites can also be reached through the Diet page of the Spa Site at:

http://spas.about.com/msub1.htm

You can look up the individual ingredients you have on your favorite sushi.

For more information about sushi, go to the Epicurious Dictionary at:

http://www.epicurious.com/db/dictionary/terms/s/sushi.html

This will also link you to some sushi recipes at:

http://www.epicurious.com/s97is.vts?action=filtersearch&filter=RSF.hts&keyword=sushi

Dr. Weil has some articles about sushi at:

http://cgi.pathfinder.com/drweil/qa/0,1471,174,00.html

It would be great if you could post your question in the Spa Site Bulletin Board at:

http://spas.tqn.com/mpboards.htm

It's new and I'm trying to build traffic on it. You might also get some other input on sushi!

Thanks for your interest in the Spa Site.
