BODY EXFOLIATION TREATMENTS

Salt Glow Loofah
A Salt Glow Loofah is an exfoliating treatment that helps remove your outermost layer of dead skin cells and increase overall circulation to the skin. This treatment exfoliates and leaves the skin clean, soft and revitalized Please do not shave at least two hours prior to this session.

Vermont Woods Exfoliation
This is a wonderfully gentle means to cleanse and stimulate your skin. We gently exfoliate the top layer of dry skin with a loofah mitt and our Vermont Woods bath bar.

BODY WRAPS & TREATMENTS

Herbal Sports Wrap
You will be wrapped in thick, cotton sheets that have steeped in our detoxifying herbal blend of allspice, eucalyptus, clove and rosemary. This treatment is designed to gently relax the body while soothing sore and tired muscles.

Vermont Wildflower Herbal Wrap
Using herbs indigenous to the Vermont countryside, we have developed Topnotch's Wildflower Blend. This treatment is similar in style to our Sports Wrap, but focuses on a milder blend of herbs to detoxify the body.

Hydrotherapy
We use powerful herbal concentrates to obtain the highest therapeutic effect from your Hydrotherapy session. Our hydrotherapy tub is an amazing experience with its 72 jets and massage wand that your therapist uses on sore muscles and joints to increase circulation and promote overall relaxation.

Either of our Herbal Wraps or our Hydrotherapy complement any of our massage services and allows tense muscles to relax further.

Body Mud Masque*
Your skin is covered with mineral-rich mud and warmed with relaxing heat lamps. As the mud dries, it draws toxins from the skin and enables minerals from the mud to be absorbed into the body.

Spirulina Body Wrap
This unique and luxurious body masque is formulated from natural Spirulina algae to nourish and encourage remineralization of the body. It leaves the skin blissfully soft and moisturized.

Seaweed Body Masque
Our Seaweed Masque is something not to be missed during your stay at Topnotch. This treatment helps restore tone, elasticity and moisture to the skin and is designed to have a relaxing and re-energizing effect on the body and mind.

NEW ENGLAND BODY TREATMENTS

Vermont Wildflower Treatment
This treatment is a three step process that involves gentle detoxification and exfoliation of the skin and a full-body massage. A delightfully soothing and nurturing necessity for dry skin.

Vermont Wood Spice Treatment
Your tired muscles or worn spirit could not have asked for a better treatment. Let your body and mind prepare for or recover from your physical activity here in Vermont. This is similar in approach to the Vermont Wildflower treatment with a muscle recovery focus.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Upper Basics
If you need to focus specifically on your back, neck and shoulders, this is the ultimate treatment for tension relief.

Swedish Massage*
This classic form of full body massage enhances circulation, improves muscle tone, relieves tension and soothes tired muscles.

Combo Massage*
Swedish techniques and specific pressure points are combined in this massage to clear energy pathways and create a sense of deep relaxation.

Prenatal Massage*
Designed to give relief to the special needs of the mother-to-be. Please see the Spa Desk and your therapist to discuss how this massage can work best for you.

Deep Tissue Massage
This massage style is directed toward specific areas of tension and imbalance in the muscular structure. Deep tissue work uses a variety of firm, direct strokes and techniques to loosen specific areas and increase circulation to keep muscles supple.

Sports Massage
This deep, muscle specific massage uses basic Swedish massage style combined with specific sports massage techniques and flexibility enhancement. Please have loose fitting clothing available.

Aromatherapy Massage*
This full-body massage utilizes pure essential oils drawn from flowers, plants and herbs that are blended and applied with a soothing carrier oil to promote relaxation, calm, invigoration, and balance.

Custom Aromatherapy Massage
Our therapists use pure essential oils to blend an aromatherapy oil specifically for your needs. After a consultation, your therapist will use your oil in a calming, full-body massage.

Reflexology
This ancient healing art focuses on manipulating specific points of the feet to assess and work with all body functions. Reflexology also assists the body in relaxing and generating balanced flow of energy.

THE SUBTLE ENERGIES

CranioSacral Therapy
By focusing on the movement of the cranioscra1 system, this treatment encourages you own natural mechanisms to improve the functioning of your brain and spinal cord, to dissipate the negative effects of stress and to enhance your general health. CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive manipulative technique Please wear loose fitting clothing.

Polarity*
Polarity utilizes various body-work techniques that can include gentle touch, direct pressure, passive unwinding and off-body energy work. Polarity is a wonderful tool for balancing the entire body and becoming grounded in deep, stable relaxation

EASTERN ORIGINS

Shirodhara Scalp Treatment and Massage
The Shirodhara is an ancient, Ayurvedic therapy used to restore an inner calm to the mind and balance the nervous system. It is a rejuvenating oil treatment for the hair and scalp and includes a full body massage. Please inform the Spa Desk and your therapist if you have chemically lightened hair. This treatment may need to be modified because of the effect the herbs may have on lightened hair.

Shiatsu
The Japanese word Shiatsu translates to mean "finger pressure." This technique focuses on applying moderate to firm pressure to points along the meridians, or energy pathways, of the body. Shiatsu provides a nurturing and soothing way to release blocked energy and restore well-being. Please wear loose fitting clothing.

FACIAL CARE

Each of our treatments is based on a careful analysis of your skin. A specific facial will be designed to best suit your needs. Your esthetician will also produce a highly effective yet simple to use, take home program.

European Facial*
This service includes cleansing exfoliation, gentle steam, facial massage, masque and moisturizer. We highly recommend this facial as a prelude to all other facial treatments.

Gentlemen's Facial*
This facial is designed specifically for the special skin care needs of men. Our deep cleansing and softening facial help to relieve irritated skin caused by daily shaving and exposure.

Aromatherapy Facial*
The use of natural essential oils and botanicals work gently to detoxify, calm and rejuvenate the skin. This treatment leaves the skin glowing while the balancing effects of the aromatherapy oils work on the entire body and mind.

Deep Pore Cleansing Treatment
A deep-cleansing treatment for any skin type. It includes an enzyme masque made of pure extracts of oat flour, pineapple and papaya. The enzymes exfoliate surface impurities and leave the skin brighter with a clearer complexion.

Re~oxygenating Treatment
This special facial treatment includes an enzyme and oxygenating masque. Oxygen is vital for healthy and youthful skin. It adds color and vitality back to your complexion.

Custom Facial Treatment
This facial includes a specialized treatment. Based on the analysis of your skin, your esthetician will recommend one of the following treatments.

Collagen Skin Repair
Minimizes the appearance of lines and smoothes the skin's surface.

DNA Pore Minimizing
Reduces pore appearance and smoothes any unevenness of your skin's surface.

Elastin Treatment
Increases the skin's elasticity and firmness, giving a visibly smoother and youthful appearance.

Revitalizing Custom Treatment
This soft lift-off masque has a cooling effect. It is a deep moisturizing treatment that hydrates the skin leaving it tight refreshed and healthy with a pleasant glow. This facial is excellent for skin which has recently been over-exposed to the sun or wind.
