Apuane Spa at the Four Seasons Resort, Punta Mita, Mexico

I have just returned from the Four Seasons Resort at Punta Mita, Mexico and want to pass on to you my opinion of the Apuane Spa located there. The facility itself is in a beautiful and serene building which houses not only  the spa, but the Beauty Salon, Workout Area, Medical Office, Lounge area, and a separate space for children's activities, which is called "Kid's For All Seasons." The Apuane offers every possible kind of massage, body treatment, and facial, but I would recommend what they called the Aboriginal Massage. I have been to many spas in the US but have never found anything quite like this. Here is how the resort describes the experience: "A young Shaman from Nicaragua offers a combination of ancient techniques from the Mayans, Incas, Native Americans, and Australian Aborigines. Using deep tissue massage, scented, sacred feathers of power, chimes, bells, heated and oiled stones, chanting, and native musical windpipes, he cleanses and balances your Aura or
Energy Field." I tend to approach things with this kind of a description very skeptically, but I've never felt more rejuvenated in my life. I went back four times and it was better each time. He became more and more aware of those "places" in me that needed attention. By the time I left I felt like a new person.
