Philosophy: We maintain a relatively unique point of view on the subject of weight management. Rather than a clinical approach, we utilize a more spiritual ideology, applying meditation and mindfulness techniques to effect eating behaviors. Combining our spiritual ideologies with modern science, we focus on the idea of mindfulness and eating awareness. Meditation is simply living with awareness of the moment. In bringing awareness to eating we see more clearly our motivations (eg. taste as opposed to hunger,) and our true needs. We realize why we eat what we eat at the times we eat it. The dietary changes are sometimes immediate but usually our patterns shift over time with constant awareness. Click here for more details.
Program: All rates include charming overnight accommodations, three nutritious meals daily, complete use of the Spa facility, and unlimited participation in classes and programs (spiritual, fitness, nutrition, and outdoors). For additional fees, a personal trainer for cardio and/or strength training and nutrition consultations for Weight Management (centers on developing awareness of the nutritional status of one's lifestyle habits and daily activities) and Diet Analysis (Includes a detailed accounting of one's physical structure, activity level and food intake, along with identifying excesses and deficiencies in the current eating pattern; working to develop personalized goals, objectives, and individualized menu plan.
