MASSAGES

• La Stone Therapy ( 50 or 75 min) – Deep muscle massage using hot and cold healing earth stones, placed at strategic points on the body.

• Swedish – (25, 50 or 80 min) - Full body massage utilizing long strokes and kneading to reduce tension, soothe sore muscles, and increase circulation.

• Lomi Lomi – (25, 50 or 80 min) - Hawaiian style massage utilizing the forearms and elbows to allow long, flowing strokes. 

• Deep Tissue – (25, 50 or 80 min) - Concentrates on relieving muscular tension and spasms due to stress or athletic activities.

• Thai – (50 or 80 min) - Also called “yoga massage”, this unique massage applies an overall manipulation of the body by stretching and body positioning.  Loose clothing required.

• Shiatsu – (25, 50 or 80 min) - Oriental technique using moderate to strong touch to restore balance by releasing energy blockages.  Loose clothing required.

• Aromatherapy – (25, 50 or 80 min) - The powerful effects of aromatherapy combined with special massage technique.  Select from the following Spa Moana signature blends of massage oil. Choice of Ikaika (Strength), Uhane (Spirit) or Maluhia (Peace).

• Couples Massage Instruction (110 min) – Your therapist massages each person in turn while demonstrating massage techniques to the other.

• Moana Sun Relief Body Wrap (25 min) – Effective after too much sun.  Your sensitive skin will be glazed with healing aloe gel, covered with native ti leaves, and wrapped in a cool linen sheet.

• Royal Moana (80 min) – This deluxe body and facial experience begins with a back massage followed by detoxifying limu (seaweed) applied to the spine and feet.  Then, preserve your youthfulness with an Anti-Aging Collagen Facial.

• Firming Limu (50 min) – Full body exfoliation using Phytomer’s Gommage (body scrub).  Your skin will be prepared to absorb the minerals found in limu, aiding the appearance of the skin by firming and toning.

OCEANSIDE SERVICES – Spa Moana offers Oceanside massages, manicures and pedicures to provide you with the ultimate Hawaiian experience.  Although each Oceanside pavilion is surrounded by lush foliage for privacy, it is requested that you wear your bathing suit.

Fitness Activities and Classes – A full schedule of fitness classes and activities are offered.  Classes include aerobics, yoga, flexibility training, Tai Chi, Hydro-fit, step, meditation and Mat Classes (Pilates-based). Fees apply for some classes.  Schedule varies.
