Ski Spas - The Cliff Lodge at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort

The Cliff Lodge in Snowbird, Utah is a 532-room deluxe resort within a resort with spectacular architecture complementing breathtaking mountain scenery and a world-class Persian and Oriental rug collection spread throughout the interior. All rooms have either a canyon or mountain view. Enjoy true ski-out, ski-in access and a wide range of amenities, including the famous Cliff Spa & Salon, full-service conference center, business center, four restaurants, and two lounges. State-licensed child and infant care facilities are also available on-site. Amenities include two heated pools (one rooftop, one ground level), a trio of hot tubs, saunas, steam room, room service, in-room massage, bellman and valet service, nursery and children's center, retail shops, laundry facilities, ski school/ticket office, ski rental, and ski check. As part of the Cliff Spa facilities (adults only), guests may also enjoy the giant rooftop whirlpool and the fitness & aerobics center.

Snowbird's diverse terrain includes some of the most challenging skiing and snowboarding in the world. Whatever your ability and desire, Snowbird provides over 2,500 acres of wide-open bowls, gladed tree runs, steep chutes, nightly-groomed trails and cruising boulevards. From the new snowcat skiing in Mineral Basin to the confidence-building novice and intermediate terrain off the Baby Thunder chair, you'll be amazed at the sheer thrill of skiing the 'Bird.

Complimentary Mountain Tours
Get acquainted with the mountain, including runs and lifts best suited to your skiing ability and tastes,with a free guided tour by one of the Mountain Hosts. All you need are your skis or snowboard, and a lift ticket. Tours depart the Snowbird Center Plaza Deck at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Heliskiing
Wasatch Powderbirds (1-801-742-2800), based at Snowbird, offers heliskiing on more than 80,000 acres of Wasatch Mountain terrain. Season runs from mid-December through mid-May.

Snowcat Skiing on 400 Acres of New Terrain
For the first time Snowbird is offering guided snowcat skiing on over 400 pristine acres in the Mineral Basin Bowl located directly south at the top of Hidden Peak. Included in this thrilling adventure is a full day of guided skiing, pre-public mountain access via early tram, continental breakfast, a catered lunch, and your choice of "fat" powder skis for the day. These skis allow advanced skiers to float easily through fresh or tracked powder. Availability will be limited, but then, so will the number of skiers tracking through the powder. The price is $250. Night Skiing and Luging on the Chickadee Run
Snowbird offers night skiing Wednesday and Friday nights from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. on its beginner trail area. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill such as snowboarding or telemark skiing. Guests can also try something entirely different by experiencing luging Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights under the careful guidance of Snowbird Ski School.

Seven Summits Club
This is the second season Snowbird will offer its exclusive Seven Summits Club featuring snowcat skiing, lift privileges, and a private locker room and lounge at the Cliff Lodge, to name just three of the many benefits. The Seven Summits Club was developed as a means to recognize a select group of Snowbird enthusiasts by offering members the most comprehensive ski amenity package. Corporate memberships are also available.

Disabled Skier Program
The motto at Snowbird is "Everyone can!" If you have a desire to ski, Snowbird will help make it happen. $22 for a two-hour session (private lessons are available) includes instruction, lift ticket, and sit-skis, mono-skis, or outriggers. Just like the mountain, Snowbird's ski school and clinics have something for everyone. With 200 professional instructors offering multi-day, all-day, half-day, or by-the-hour private and group lessons, the following programs are offered: Chickadees (ages 3-4), Child/Teen & Mountain Adventures (ages 5- 15), Snowboarding (all ages), Adult SuperClinics, Adult Specialty Workshops, Private Lessons, Powder Perfect Private Lessons, Women's Seminar, Senior's Seminar, Women's Snowboarding Camp, and the Disabled Skier Program. End meetings with a manicure and mogul runs with a massage. Snowbird is proud to offer one of the premier European-style spas and salons in the country. From soothing facials to exotic herbal wraps to specialized hair treatments, the staff is well-trained in the art of nurturing and rejuvenating the body, relaxing the mind, and refreshing the spirit.. The Cliff Spa, and it's accompanying facilities, are available to all individuals 18 years of age or older. Memberships are available.

There is a $10.00 fee to use spa facilities for guests staying at the Snowbird Lodge. Guests booking appointments of $50.00 or more in services may use the spa at no cost. Guests visiting from outside the Canyon are charged a $15.00 daily fee. Monthly spa memberships are available. Advance reservations are required for all spa treatments and salon services. Please arrive 20 minutes before your appointment.

The Aerie Restaurant - Snowbird's premier fine dining establishment for breakfast, and dinner. The Aerie dinner menu presents European Flair. The Aerie also offers the only Sushi Bar in a Utah ski area.
Keyhole Junction - featuring innovative Southwestern cuisine with a light and fresh style, the Junction is a great place to enjoy lunch, dinner, and apres-ski.
Summit Cafe - located poolside on top of the Cliff Lodge This is the place for apres-ski, light dinners, and late-night snacks.
Atrium Express - jump start your day with gourmet coffee, espresso, cappuccino, or latte and a fresh-baked pastry. At the Atrium, you'll also find fresh fruit, juices, and more.
The Forklift - features a casual, family dining atmosphere with separate menus for breakfast, lunch, and apres-ski. The Forklift also offers entertainment after a long, hard day of skiing.
Wildflower Lounge - three-tiered dining space complete with white table cloths and olive oil bottles, the Wildflower just may have the best patio dining around due to the unobstructed view of the Alpenglow on Twin Peaks.
