Golf

"As well as the challenge of the King's, the secluded charms of the Queen's, or the nine hole Wee Course, there is now the exceptional PGA Centenary Course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This plays between 5,065 and 7,081 yards, due to five optional tees at each hole and is a course of baffling ingenuity." Gleneagles has been selected as the host venue for the 40th Ryder Cup match in 2014.

The Golf Academy

Golfers surfing the internet are now able to receive instruction from Gleneagles' professionals without leaving the comfort of their own home or workplace. In a new initiative, Sandy Smith, head professional and his team, have enlisted the help of V1 Software allowing them to teach students around the world via email. Using the especially designed software, eager to learn golfers will send video footage of their swing via an email attachment to the Gleneagles' team for analysis. They, in turn, will receive a modified version of the attachment within three days complete with audio and visual instruction of how to improve their swing. For more information, click HERE.

and flying Harris hawks.
Lessons are available for all levels of experience

Off-Road

I learned how to drive the eight-wheel-drive, tiller-controlled, all-terrain, all-weather, semi-amphibious Argo. Lessons are available for ages 12 and over.

Two of Britain's most challenging off road courses are available for four-wheel-drive vehicles.*

Kids aged six years + can learn how to drive 1/4-size Land Rover and test their driving skills over a course designed to mimic the "grown ups' course.

Fishing*

"SALMON OR TROUT?...Experience angling on the Tay, Scotland's great salmon river, or Gleneagles' trout loch."
Tennis*
The Gleneagles Equestrian Centre*

The Equestrian Centre is one of the best equipped in the world and provides facilities for every discipline of horsemanship, and at every level of experience.
Shooting*

If you would like more practice on simulated teal, high pheasant or running hare or simply enjoy the exhilaration of clay target shooting, the Shooting School offers the very best in terms of facilities and equipment.

Every gun is made by the prestigious Beretta company, master gun makers since 1526.
