Driving through downtown Reykjavik, I noticed Planet Reykjavik. Of course, I had to stop in for a peak. Unfortunately, I had no time for a treatment, but the women at the reception desk were gracious enough to give me a quick tour. This busy, multi-level day spa has the fitness center and facial treatment rooms on the main level and lounge, hot tub and massage treatment rooms on the lower level. Some of the massage treatment rooms were separated by heavy drapes instead of walls. This spa offers shoulder massage as you sit in the hot tub (weekdays: 7-10am, 12:30-1:30pm, 5-8pm; Saturdays 10am-2pm; Sundays 12-2pm).
