Downtown Rockport has many charming shops.

Rockport is also home to the Farnsworth Homestead, unique because all the furnishings in the house are as the owners left them.

And the Farnsworth Art Museum

And Wyeth Center, part of the Farnsworth Art Museum. Many of Andrew Wyeth's paintings were inspired from this part of Maine.

The Olson House and Christina Olsen appear in Andrew Wyeth's Christina's World, 1948 (now at the Museum of Modern Art in NY). The house is now open to the public and part of the Farnsworth Art Museum

Christina's World was one of the only tempera paintings actually completed in the Olson House.
