Sinful Desserts

Jeff pops a piece of dark chocolate in his mouth and grins. I prefer milk chocolate. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort's Executive Chef, Scott Cape, has just shown us how to create a double boiler from a pot of water and a metal bowl. We are melting chocolate to create our "sinful" dessert, chocolate-covered strawberries. The chocolate melts. We dip huge, ripe strawberries in the chocolate, put them in the cooler, and are treated to Chef Scott's healthy dinner typical of the cuisine available at Seasons Restaurant in the Woodlands Spa. Sushi, tomato salad, beef tenderloin with wheat berries, and swordfish with lentils highlight the menu. The strawberries appear. They are delicious. I sample a milk chocolate strawberry and admit the dark chocolate is better. We take the leftovers back to our room. Yum!
