Stress Busters Spa, Inc. is a local day spa (to those of us in northern Delaware) that offers an opportunity to take some time out to be relaxed and refreshed. Services are offered to both men and women and include one-half hour and one hour massages, detoxifying wraps, facials using Matrix products, waxing using Nudesse Nufree products, manicures, pedicures, parrifin treatments, glycolic treatments, nail sets, refills, overlays, and tanning - from one session to one year and everything in between. Products for sale include Trucco™ Cosmetics, Matrix™ Skin Care, Basix™, Biolage™, California Tan™, and Creative Nail Care™.
Stess Busters is located in Eden Square Shopping Center on Route 40 in Bear, Delaware. It is easy to get to. From I-95 in Christiana, take Route 1 south to Route 40 south. Turn left at the first light into Eden Square Shopping Center. It is at the far back left corner as you enter the shopping center.
I decided to visit them this week and have a massage. Certified Massage Therapist, Bobbi Arbruster, offers Swedish, deep muscle, and sports massages. I opted for a Swedish massage and Bobbi did a very competent job, using two techniques I hadn't experienced before and enjoyed. For the month of October, the hour-long massage is $50 instead of the usual $60. And for any time, visit their web site and get a 10% discount on all retail and services.
So if you live in Delaware or are just passing through, you might want to give Stress Busters a try. Hours are Mon-Turs 9am-9pm, Fri 9am-6pm, Sat 9am-5pm, Sun 12pm-5pm. Saturdays are busy, so plan ahead.
