Cruises offer a unique combination of experiences - the sea, the cruise itself with all the dining, activities, and entertainment it offers, the exotic destinations, and, very often, spas equal to those on dry land. Spas can make your cruise healthy with vigorous fitness programs, detoxification treatments and relaxing aromatic massages. This article will focus on one of the companies that provides spas to the cruise lines, Steiner, and one of the cruise lines that offers spas, Celebrity Cruises.
Steiner has been in business since 1934, attracting celebrities and British aristocracy. In 1968 Steiner received the Royal Appointment as cosmeticians to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. In 1994 Steiner was awarded the Royal Appointment as hairdressers to her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Steiner opened salons on British luxury cruise liners and now provides the salons and spas for many of the cruise lines today. Among them are:
