The drive
across the Canadian Rockies from Banff through Kootenay National Park to Radium was gorgeous. We stopped
to have a
picnic and walk along the Marble Canyon Trail on the way. The following photos were taken there. The water in
Tokumm Creek was a cloudy aqua color from glacial runoff called "glacial
milk". The milky, cloudy appearance comes from the very fine debris
material called "glacial flour" carried by the current.
