Here's a tip. If you want some quiet time to enjoy a spa by yourself, especially in a busy location like Las Vegas, book the first appointment of the day and show up 20-30 minutes early. Most likely, you will be able to enjoy the whirlpool, sauna, and steam room alone and have a little time to meditate before anyone else arrives. That's what I did when I visited the Spa at Treasure Island. With my body and mind still on East Coast time, the 8 am appointment felt like 11 am to me. I was alone until minutes before my therapist came to escort me to a treatment room for a Heated Desert Stone Massage. The massage itself lasted about 50 minutes and was quite pleasant. Warm stones were used to loosen tight muscles. However, this particular massage did not include the face, hands or feet. The Spa at Treasure Island includes both men's and women's locker room facilities complete with redwood saunas, whirlpools, eucalyptus steam rooms, private showers, vanity amenities, and a full service juice bar offering fruit smoothies, juice, water, etc. Robes and slippers are provided. A state-of-the-art co-ed fitness room is fully staffed with fitness experts and features stationary bicycles, treadmills, stairclimbers, elliptical treadmills, CYBEX machines, and free weights. T-shirts and shorts are available. If you have a massage, facial, or body treatment, use of the spa facility is included in the price. However, you can pay a daily facility fee to just access the fitness room, lockers, whirlpools, saunas, and steam rooms. Services offered at the Spa include:
