Catherine Bardley provides recipes for home spa treatments such as Revitalizing Sea Salt &Rosemary Oil Body Scrub, Thyme & Eucalyptus Back Relief Soak and Lemon Mint Toner. She also includes light spa cuisine with a few recipes for drinks, soups, salads, and desserts such as Citrus-Cranberry Sparkler, Warm Cucumber, Tomato & Lentil Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, and Apricot Mousse. Perhaps the best information is the basic tips for each treatment type. This valuable advice applies to treatments at the spa as well as the spa at home. The good content makes up for the awkward book size. I only wish the book was twice as wide and half as thick. On second thought, make that just as thick but with print twice as big!
