| Guide Review |

Author Annalisa Cunningham
presents 100+ spas and healing centers. Devoting 2 pages to each spa,
she provides the address, phone, fax, email, URL, program symbols,
a half-page description of the spa history, facilities and programs, and
brief descriptions of accommodations, rates, credit cards, meal plans,
services, recreational facilities, facilities, disability access,
special notes, nearby attractions, nearest airport, and getting there.
There's a glossary and index of spas in alphabetical order and spas by
activities offered. I look for photos when I pick up a book of this
type. Ideally, there would be at least one photo for each spa. This book
provides photos for less than 20. The author doesn't share any personal
spa experiences. | |
