Guide Picks - Spa Music

Here are some of my favorite CDs (in no particular order) I have heard in various spas over the years. Great for creating a spa-like atmosphere at home, "spa" music helps me get to total relaxation in no time. By concentrating on the peaceful sounds, I essentially block out all of the stray thoughts that would wildly compete for my attention and would lessen the overall benefits of my rejuvenation time. It's also terrific for work.

1) Canyon Trilogy
The serene sounds of R. Carlos Nakai's flute transport me to one of my favorite places on earth - a red rock canyon in Sedona, Arizona.
2) Touching Beauty
A collection of lovely, relaxing music by a variety of artists that I enjoy listening to over and over. Nice background music for work, also.
3) Songs from a Secret Garden
One of the first CDs I took note of at a spa - I was taken with the gentle and interesting variety of selections. It's still one of my favorites.

4) Enhancing Massage
By Steven Halpern. It does.
