The Spa At ARIA, Las Vegas

The Spa at ARIA in Las Vegas is setting new records for size. The 80,000 square-foot Japanese-themed spa on two levels has 62 treatment rooms and has a salt meditation room with "vibration therapy" lounge chairs that synchronize with sensual music, spa suites for eight, and a co-ed spa balcony with a Japanese-style open-air hot bath (“rotenburo”. Part of ARIA Resort & Casino in the City Center complex, The Spa at ARIA in Las Vegas is exclusively available to guests of CityCenter’s hotels. (This is typical of major Las Vegas hotel spas). The salon will be open to the public.

The Spa at ARIA's unprecedented salt meditation room is called a “shio” and features a wall of illuminated salt bricks. This is a splendid interpretation of traditional inhalation rooms, which encourage the healing of skin irritations and upper respiratory problems. Decorated with salt lamps, the shio has lounge chairs that vibrate in rhythm to music.

The Spa at ARIA's second meditation room has Japanese stone sauna (“ganbanyoku”) beds of heated black mineral stone that emit negative ions and far-infrared rays. The treatment helps relax muscles, improve blood circulation, increase metabolism and eliminate toxins from the body. A "fire lounge" serves as a place for relaxation before or following treatments.

The Spa at ARIA's reception area has a tranquil stone and water garden adorned with sacred Japanese Aji stones, blessed in Japan to inspire calmness and tranquility. Natural light flows through floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of Las Vegas’ sprawling mountain ranges and ARIA’s lush poolscape.

The Spa at ARIA features three private spa suites that act as a "spa within a spa" and can accommodate up to eight people. The suites include luxurious amenities, Aji stone walls and natural light, a lounge area with entertainment, vanity, lockers, a personal steam shower and a three-person hydrotherapy tub. Along with massage and facials The Spa at ARIA features ashiatsu, couples massage, Thai massage, hydro-therapy and vichy rooms. The salon has 16 stylist stations, six color stations, four make-up stations, 12 manicure stations, 15 pedicure stations, one barber station and one waxing station. Floor-to-ceiling windows near the color and make-up stations provide natural light and views of CityCenter.

The 16,000-square-foot fitness center offers personal training is available in either private or group sessions, and may be tailored to fit personal needs.
