Spa Chakra on Fifth is big -- 16 treatment rooms and 22,000 square feet. Spa Chakra on Fifth is lavish, with a gorgeous roof-top garden and cafe. (This is one of its nicest features, especially when the weather is fine.) And Spa Chakra on Fifth has a great location -- high above glamorous Fifth Avenue between 52nd and 53rd St.
60 Treatments At Spa Chakra on Fifth
Spa Chakra on Fifth offers 60 therapeutic treatments for face and body, including the "Tropical Body Souffle & Massage," a two-hour body polish, body masque and massage with citrus massage oil. The "Intensive Age-Defying Facial and Professional Makeup" takes 2 1/2 and includes a foot scrub, paraffin hand and foot dip, and eyebrow shaping.
You can bet all those extras add up, and even the basics are pricey -- more like a fancy hotel spa than a day spa. Spa Chakra on Fifth is definitely a "splurge" type spa.
Cornelia was known for its Romanian therapists and many of them have remained. One newcomer to the scene is hairstylist Ric Pipino, who has opened his second location at Spa Chakra on Fifth.
