The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa also boasts the world's largest collection of arts and crafts furniture. The original Main Inn was built with boulders from nearby quarries, and guest rooms still feature all their original Arts and Crafts furnishings.
The Grove Park Inn Spa was added in 2001, a 43,000 sq. foot sanctuary built underground so as not to spoil the views. It's best known for its spectacular, stone-lined Grotto Pool Area, which features a large warm mineral pool with underwater music, two therapeutic waterfall pools, a cool lap pool, a fireplace and great views of the mountains. It manages to keep an airy feeling with high, soaring skylights.
It's costly to gain access to the Grotto Pool if you aren't getting a spa treatment, which makes the spa treatments a better value. Along with the usual range of spa treatments, The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa offers hydrotherapy baths (unfortunatley they don't use local mineral water) and massage in the Pagoda, which has an incredible view, a fireplace, and windows that can be opened.
The Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa has 510 rooms and suites (including two newer wings), and has a children's program. Nearby you'll find hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, fishing and whitewater rafting.
