SpaFinder Wellness Week takes place once a year in the spring, and partners offers $50 treatments or 1/2-off the regular price. These promotional prices are available primarily in major markets with a high concentration of spas.
The spas participate because they hope you'll try the spa, like it, then come back and pay full price. Sometimes they offer treatments like microdermabrasion or photo facials that are best done as a series. However, not every spa will participate. Sometimes the best-known spas don't need the publicity or don't want to lower their price that much.
Occasionally spas will have their own promotional events or special spa deals that you can find out about by getting on their email list.
You can also get affordable massage by joining a club like Massage Envy, which charges $49 or $59 massage, depending on the market, or a special rate of $39 or $49 for your first massage.
And while $50 spa treatments are great, don't be stingy. Tip your therapist at least $15.
